Another great video Lady! You always make it look so simple :)

So i've finally decided to invest in MAC brushes.. I have shied away from them in the past because of how pricey they are but am finally going for it.. LoL Anywho.. If you could only buy 5 MAC brushes (eye & face) with the excemption of foundation brushes ( i <3 my Kabuki brush) what would they be??

I only own 5 regular size and another 5 special edition small ones. I'm a bit limited.

If you had to get eye brushes I would say the 217 an all purpose brush, 219 pencil brush & 239 shading brush. If you want to blend with a clean brush other than the 217, then I would recommend the 222 or 224 depending on your preference, but you should be fine with the 217 along with other blending brushes you might have from other brands.

I guess if you like filling in your brows or using gel liner your could get the 266 (I think that's the angled one) and there is also a thin brush for gel liner, but I think you can find cheaper alternatives for those.

In terms of face brushes, I own the 168 angled blush or contouring brush, which I love but it sheds a little. It's very soft and I use it with bronzer. The other face brush that is great is the 129 for blush, it's really nice. I haven't bought a dupe for that one, but it's such a typical blush brush that I'm sure there are cheaper ones out there.

However, there are a lot of good options apart from MAC. Call me stingy, but it's painful to dish out that much for a brush. I bought myself a brush a month or every 2 months so I wouldn't feel as bad. I hope that helps, your one step ahead with your kabuki. Sorry this is so long :P.
