My collection is very small! Just goes to show you don't need much of it to survive. I'm trying to confine my makeup collection to this one plastic drawer box. I'm not a professional or anything, so I don't think it is necessary to hoard cosmetics the way I hoard clothes.

Nude Delight 700 - more opaque coverage, matte and better worn on exfoliated lips as a base under gloss. this color acts as a concealer for more pigment lips.
Vintage Pink 180 - a pretty dirty pink with some mauve in it, glides on very smooth... very pretty for everyday or smokey eyed evenings.
Lasting Finish Intense Wear Lipstick:
Paradise 050 - surprised people haven't raved about this color much, a very gorgeous bronzey pink which is perfect for tanned skin.
Airy Fairy 070 - raved about like crazy on youtube, it is said to be a Mac Viva Glam V or Fabby dupe. It's a creamy pink-beige, hard to describe. It's very wearable for everyday.
Vinyl Glosses:
Smitten 113 - a coral pink, no sparkles, turns up like a sheen and not completely opaque
Sunrise 199 - pink-orange with gold sparkles, it's like a less pigmented Mac Sublime Shine Dazzle Glass.

I wore this for my mom's birthday. I have to say, I am still terrible at winging liquid liner. This took forever, but I guess it's a start. In terms of eye shadow I used very subtly browns and taupe from a couple of maybelline quads. The eyeliner is L'oreal lineur intense. I used Nars orgasm blush and NYC bronzer for contour, but it doesn't show. I haven't been wearing much lipstick these days because of accutane, so I'm wearing Burt's Bees pomegranate lip balm, which is my ultimate favorite.
If you are looking for an alternative to the utterly popular Lilac Dream by Models Own or Lilac Polish by Eyeko, then I would have to suggest either Done out in Deco or Do you Lilac it by OPI.
The reason I opted for OPI was because since I live in Canada, it's simply more accessible. Shipping is very expensive when you live in Canada, ridiculous expensive. I really wanted to purchase the Models Own Lilac Dream, however it's about 10 euros for shipping and you must spend at least 30 euros to have international shipping. Spending 40 euros just to get one nail polish just didn't make sense.
I still want to get Do you Lilac it, as it is much less gray than Done out in Deco. On the bright side, this color is very multifunctional. Lilac is very in this season and it is also wearable for all seasons. It's also subtle, which I think is overlooked.
Hope you like ;) xoxo

Oh I love this denim shirt, it's so comfortable and laid back. I've already featured it in a previous messing in the fits post. The t-shirt and coral shorts are both from Gap, which were from a summer or more ago. The t-shirt actually has embroidered flowers on it, but that didn't show up. I got these turquoise sandals from Topshop on a trip to New York last summer and didn't wear them too much. They are not very comfortable. However, I feel in love with the the detail in the front and they can be effortlessly dressed up or down. Oh and that Marc by Marc Jacobs purse was a Christmas gift from my beloved.
I would have taken pictures outside, but lately, I haven't had anyone to do me the favor. I'm also in a rut because my laptop charger is broken. This truly feels like a dry spell! My mother's desktop doesn't have photoshop or the video editing program that I use for youtube. I guess I will have to make due.
Pandemonium Pink - OPI Hong Kong collection spring/summer 2010
Much to my surprise, I'm loving this color a lot more than I thought I would. I was dead set on my favorite being Lucky Lucky Lavender from the same collection, but I'm not so sure any more.
I think that if I purchase another color from this collection, it would have to be Hot & Spicy. Nothing else really caught my eye. I have "jade is the new black" and I feel like it should have been lighter, like a real Chinese jade... but I was drawn to the color more than it's name.
I've had my eye on Lilac Dream by Models Own, but needless to say that isn't available in Canada and I don't want to order online. Does anyone know of a possible dupe? I have St. Lucia Lilac by Essie and it's not bright or dark enough to compare. I think I might go for "done out in deco" or "do you lilac it" instead.

Yeah... I have shopping issues, but i didn't buy everything I tried. Here are some of the things that caught my eye at Forever21 and H&M. You know what, I've got to bring my actual camera to do these because blackberry pics are not really cutting it. The lighting in Forever21 is pretty awful but my camera doesn't help. By the way, I rounded up the prices.
Oh that weird thing on my inner arm... I had blood withdrawn... ew
I did my first OOTD video on the day I wore this outfit, I'm not going to link it because the quality is horrible. I'm wearing a navy Zara tunic with a purple floral print, an urban outfitter's leather belt and some regular black leggings. The weather was horrible, so to top that off I paired the outfit with rubber boots and practically a winter jacket.
I tried on this top for fun a few weeks ago and never shared it with you in a haul or anything like that. This is an over sized blue stripped "oxford" shirt from forever21 that I purchased in purple.

It is my first time Rimmel nail polish. It's in the color "crushed pearl" and it's a pearly satin white, however it has a peachy-pink iridescence to it at the same time. My favorite thing about this nail polish, much like the Sally Hansen pro nail polish line is the brush applicator. The brush is flat and wide, unlike many other drugstore brands. This makes for a quicker and less streaky application. What I didn't like was that I put one layer too many and the nail polish didn't dry properly. I ended up removing it. I had to apply many layers to have it cover my nail opaque (con), that was partly my fault though. It's a little too transparent for my taste, but I might give it a second chance.
In case you are wondering it stands for make-up of the day. I thought I would do this for fun whenever I really like my make-up. Here's what I wore today.
